  • Unaccompanied Minors Program/Children’s Village
    Shelter care and child welfare services for unaccompanied undocumented immigrant children who have been determined by the Office of Refugee Resettlement not to have lawful immigration status in the U.S. Minors placed at UMP remain in the custody of the Office of Refugee Resettlement.

  • Unaccompanied Minors Refugee Program
    Children born in other countries, and who have received special “unaccompanied refugee minor” classification from the US government, are placed in licensed foster homes. They attend local schools and are provided with a full array of services.

  • St. Luke’s Addiction Recovery Residential Services

  • Haitian Guardian Program
    Assists Haitian immigrants and newly arrived entrants living in low-socio-economic areas to become more self-sufficient and adapt to life in the U.S. Linkages to other community services are established. The program is offered in English and Creole.

DISASTER RESPONSE

Serves as the lead Archdiocesan agency in hurricane preparedness and recovery. It is a principle role of Catholic Charities to coordinate the Catholic Church’s response to hurricanes in the Archdiocese and to insure that the poor, vulnerable and most marginalized among us receive assistance during hurricane recovery.
